Min Cash < Buy-in

So far i experienced only two formats on PokerStars with a lower min cash than the buy in:

time tourneys

super KO´s


Today i played in a "normal" turbo $0.82 MTT

and the min cash in the lobby is: $0.81

I think Stars has terrible prize structure, but earlier Party Poker they're even far more horrible. They paid something like top25% and lowest prizes were like 75% of buy-in.

I would say that min cash should be at least 2,5x buy-in, likely 3x buy-in. But some poker sites likes to play very flat, because that gives them usually much more rake in long-term.

It is good for the "poker ecology" when more people get pennies and don´t go broke too fast

With all the players they need to give back the money to many players, otherwise players would drop out, and stop playing on Stars I think
