    Default Rush poker

I am playing some rush poker this week for points towards 'Take 2'.

I frequently run into people that are short stacking like a boss... and shove allin on any flop. I am not running into the same people doing this as much as running into many players doing the same strategy. Should I give them any credit if the flop comes really dry?

Any suggestions on what to call against a short stacker shoving on flop with no reads or history? Any suggestions for rush?

Suggestions for Rush: Be a nit, but aggressive.

    Avoid pots with them.

As for overall advice on RUSH: Play tight, IP, and steal blinds relentlessly.

Most profitable strategy that I've found at 10NL RUSH is to play extremely tight from EP and MP, but pretty much raising ATC when folded to you in the SB, unless BB's fold to steal is less than 75%. And as for the BTN I'm raising like 40% of hands.

With a hand like KK in early position... I standard raise and then Button 3-bets, should I try to get it allin or should I wait and see a flop?

With a question like this do you really want an answer? What about AQ in MP to a 3bet from the BTN. What about OTB with AJs and a 3bet by the BB? Do you not see where this is going? The process of figuring it out gives you more answers than being told to 4 bet or call. You need to think long and hard about why and when. I'd start with the opponent and work from there.

3bets are so obviously strength, fold.

I have been 4-betting, and then calling when they shove. This has cost me money in the long run so I am looking for a better way to approach the situation. Some good points have been brought up that this has more to do with position and the opponents range than trying to find some formulaic way to play.
