    Default KQo Multi Way pot

I played this poorly on many fronts, but I think there are learning opportunities within this hand.

First round at table no reads

    Logic

    PreFlop:Standard (4x+1)
Flop:My hand is weak in multiway. Now this bet confused me normally I associate this with a draw type hand, but the only draw he can have is qj,tj. The call by the UTG post limper means he could have weak king ( I know that isn't range, but his range is mega wide). So the right move here is to raise it to 3. If i get reraised all in is to fold, since whoever does that will have a range of 33,99, maybe ak,kk,aa. But more importantly, without reads I cannot call a bluff, thus there perceived range will dominate me.

Turn: The better's range here can be draw type hands sets 77, though 33, kk are less likely since most poeple would re-raise the flop bet. At this point I don't think raising big makes since I will not be able to get away from it if I get reraised. Calling sucks but with 10:1 odds to improve isn't so bad.....

River:The river doesn't look like it would hit anyone but maybe someone's drawing pocket pair, cause I don't see 56 stick around this long. plus slow plays here are unlikely. By value betting I might get value out of kt,kj, pocket qqs and jjs. and really only ak and aa beat me here (but again they are unlikely).

Hard to say, I´d guess this is a weak made hand quiet often along with few 33/99/K9 looking to induce.

With all the dead money I wouldnt mind raise/folding flop right there. You´re wa/wb vs each player, vs 3 however their outs add up. For the sake of the argument, imagine you´re wa vs each one opponent and assume one drawing to a gutter, one to two pair and one to a set its 4 + 3 + 2 = 9 turn cards you dont want to see. Soooooooo we may have discovered a situation truly worthy the term "betting/raising to protect".

I'd raise the flop for like $2.20, it makes drawing to a random gut shot (QJ,QT,JT) or set less profitable and gets value from good 9x and any Kx hands. If BB jams I'm calling since he's short and likely stacks off with most Kings.

Also it's very unlikely anyone has AA/KK/AK given the preflop action - if they do it's awful play.

I'd raise flop for value in addition to wanting to thin out the field.

    /thread

+ i wouldn't say that the bet isn't purely for protection because many of the opponents are calling with far far worse (any K, a lot of 9's and split pairs, sometimes GSSD's)

raise the flop! i honestly think he's doing this with some kinda mid pair or weaker king... maybe TT or something...

assume villian is a donk until he proves otherwise... with that in mind you're hand is ahead most of his range...
