Default Dealing With The Loose Chip Leader

Hi, I'm new here, and have just started to get into Sit N Go poker. I hope to stick around and improve my game on these forums.

I've only played 3 Sit N Go's so far after reading Collin Moshman's Sit N Go Strategy. I won the first won but have gone out in 5th in the next 2.

The problem I had was, after playing very tight in low blind play and watching a couple of player get eliminated early, I was left with a loose siginificant chip leader to my left, with me having neither lost or won many chips.

Coming into mid blind play, I found it impossible to blind steal as any raise I make would be called by the loose chip leader. Does anyone have any tips on what to do in such a situation.

I guess I have been a little unlucky that the chip leader has been on my first left, both times!

This is somewhat similar to a stuation I posted on here the other day...

This was for a more specific situation, but the answers will still probably help.

Other than that, shove over when you are BB and SB or button tries to steel your blind. That should give you 2.5 - 3 blinds at a time so should help make up for a lack of steeling.

Alternatively, if big stack is playing loose, it may give you a good chance to double up if the cards go your way.

    Hello. Congratulations on your win.

After he called your raises, what did you do on the flop? Did you continuation bet? Having the loose chip leader on your left is difficult if they are calling your raises, as you are then mostly out of position. If a suitable opportunity arises, you could try raising on the button or alternatively pushing your good to excellent hands by going All In.

It is difficult to advise without knowing stack sizes, position etc, so try to get to 10 posts asap, so you can post the hand history.

Hi and welcome to the FTR, it's good to have you here. Also, welcome to SNGs, at low buyins they are a good way to build a bankroll.

I agree with the others, these situations are very hand dependent so post the actual hand and we'll take a look. If you haven't got to 10 posts you can't post the converted hand, so feel free to post it raw.
