Default How would you play this hand?

    Hi,
This hand is from a 1,20 SG at Absolute Poker. I was playing 16/9 and villain was 35/10. I had a note on him concerning a cold stone bluff on the river. He could be doing a bluff in this hand sometimes. I think he has a PP. I wonder how would you play this hand. In retrospect, I should have bet 1/2 the pot on the flop. I could shove PF, but I was a bit deep to do that.

I'd make it 400 preflop, no need to make it a full 3x BB. Then you can make your flop c-bet 500 (into an 875 pot), saving yourself 150 chips compared to your line.

Either way, once your c-bet gets called and your hand doesn't improve, definitely let it go.

He's getting better than 2 to 1 on the pre flop call, and I think that's a dangerous flop to cbet against his pre flop calling open range. I agree with what taipan said but I don't think I would cbet this flop against this LAG. Could be a leak, maybe?

Agree with Taipan, raise a little less to make your Cbet cheaper, but I'd def Cbet, and as said above, let it go after that if you don't improve.

I agree with Tai about the prelop raise.

I am not sure this is a good flop to c-bet it is very coordinated and can hit a lot of hands, I would probably check behind and take a stab on the turn if checked to me.

I agree. The PF raise should be lower (2.5x) and I think my C-bet should be also lower (half the pot). I dont think he made a hand here...he sensed weakness in my checked turn and decided to put me in a difficult position.

I think I c-bet a lot and sometimes then dont give me the credit of a hand.
