The game was going fine until it became 4 handed and I had the big stack to my left. It left me a little stuck as the big stack wasn't really bullying the two small stacks.

So how would you have played the last few hands differently, ie when it was 4 handed, really from hand 16 onwards.

And to be honest I haven't looked myself to know if there was anything obvious or stupid as my g/f is pissed that I've been playing and I now have to go and watch a stupid romcom rather than analyse my game.

hand 1- Still go ahead and fold pre. Your position is still way to blah and
its's just gong to get you into a bad situations.

hand 2- Prett thin but I feel we can even V bet for smaller pps at this point. If he raises, we know we are beat.

hand 5- not really a fan of opening from this pos. Flop donk is great.

hand 7- I think I would be consistant w my pf raise and make it 2.5x here as well.
This way, the pot isn't even more bloated oop and we save chips. Flop and post flop look good.

hand 8- You don't really have that great of implied odds from the first two callers. You are really
just looking for a miracle flop at this point being so multiway. I'd rather fold and not
get mixed up in a spot like this. If choochoo has really loose stats I guess I don't mind it so much.

hand 9- fine

hand 10- Sb and bb all have about 10bb stacks. Raise folding here is pretty meh, I would let it go for sure.

hand 11- You are losing so much value here by not just raising it.

hand 12- I am a big fan of the limp stab, though no need to pot it on the flop, About 200
would be appropiate.

hand 13- I need stats here for sure. At a glance though I really don't like it.

hand 14- again, prob would be a little bit less then pot.

hand 15- I like this, espesh if bb has loose stats and you think he might get it in light.

hand 16- looks fine

hand 17- well played, though be warry of guys with big stats as they are more likely to raise yor
limp and float your stab.

hand 18- shov pre, and wider.

Hand 7: Raise to 2.5x BB instead of 3xBB that way cbets won't hurt your stack as much. 3BB PFR up to 25/50 is ok but I like to make it 2.5x 50/100 and up to avoid digging into my stack

Hand 8: Despite getting 7:1 on the call PF, I personally wouldn't make it. That might be a leak in my game. Then betting half pot with top pair, bad kicker in early position is easily beat by anyone who reraises you or calls because the majority of turn cards are not good for you. I'd like to see what better players think about this hand

Hand 10: I don't usually raise this loose from the BTN. Is this standard? Especially since SB and BB are around 10BB, you risk getting 3bet shoved when they don't give BTN raises much credit

Between Hand 10 and 11: If 78o was good enough to raise from BTN, isn't A4s good enough to raise from CO?

Hand 12: I'm never limping in the SB unless there are 3-4 limpers behind, unless I am trapping against a loose BB; which I usually never do

Hand 13: I'm folding this hand due to the presence of three smaller stacks, 3betting into a big stack, and the fact that there are three players yet to act

Hand 14: Dangerous bet with TPNK on drawy board. I'm check/folding this flop

Hand 17: Never limping here, either raising or folding

Hand 18: Never limping here, either raising or folding

I would probably to limp TT early on because I feel no need to bloat the pot oop. If i was otb and had TT vrs one limper I feel much better iso ing pre because we are last to act. In the sb, if two overs come we have to check and he can just take it away.

Reasons:

Hand 10
Both blinds were playing pretty tight, and I have to steel off someone or my stack will shrink with this level of blinds. I go by the theory that if I think I can steel I may as well do it, I guess I’m raising pretty damn wide here, not sure if I should be, by I don’t want to sit for 2 rounds of blinds and then find myself being left with either shove or fold options. I also like to mix up my steels between being SB and being Button, as it can look too obvious if I keep steeling when I’m SB.

Really? There are so many cards I don’t want to see on the flop. And with my stack size, I am somewhat left with a shove or check/fold on the flop. I figured get it in while I’m probably ahead.

Hand 12
Again, I feel my stack size leave me screwed if I’m shoved into and I don’t want a call, so I want as much fold equity as possible, and I feel a pot bed maximises that whilst leaving me enough of a stack if I fold.

Hand 13
He’s been a cheeky bugger, steeling non stop, I kinda drew a line in the sand here.

I thought he had me after the flop call & turn min raise, and he value betted well on the river, wasn’t worth folding as a good value bet can sometimes be a good bluff if that makes sense. I would have called max 200 more here I think.

My problems came after hand 16, big stack was next door and was fighting for anything I went in for, and he wasn’t attacking the smaller stacks aggressively enough. Wasn’t sure how to go about this bit, as I didn’t really want to play, just wanted one of the small stacks out, but they were holding on for dear life, and the guy to my right was shoving into me at each of my BBs. Wondering if I should have been more aggressive. I find 2nd stack much harder to play than big stack (aggro bullying) or small stack (aggro shoving at any opportunity).

This was part of my problem, I was getting hit by the blinds too much, didn’t really have hands to raise with, but didn’t want to just keep folding away my blinds, in hindsight, wish I folded.

Between 18 & 19

This is where I think it all fell down. I was being bullied as the middle stack,. Small stacks were shoving into me and playing well, and I just didn’t have a calling all in hand. And I was trying not to shove into the big stack who seemed to be wanting to call me a lot. Again, in hindsight, I think you’re right, should have attacked the big stack, but I kept hoping he would take care of one of the small stacks.

I'm +1 on shoving nearly ATC from SB if folded to in that spot. You've been VERY tight, and only shown down big hands, except that one QJ raise hand. You've open folded from the SB before, so they aren't putting you on a steal with ATC. They may suspect a steal, but they're porbably putting you on a top-30% kind of range which needs a top-10% kind of hand to call with.

On the super-sick J6 hand, that all gets avoided if you steal that blind with a raise. No chance he's calling a raise light there. If you fold, that's fine, too. But limping is pretty much the worst choice. The only time I'm limping is with a monster when I really want to induce a poorly timed raise from an aggro big blind. I thought you played it well throughout, taking some nicely timed shots, and as you note, you lost your nerve in the last 3 orbits.

I'm confused by this. You think you should be shoving really wide here? I can see how you'll get away with this once or maybe even twice, but Bigstack has me well & truly covered so is not going to put up with that for long, and we have a reasonable relative stack & 2 small stacks just waiting to die.

I think I am leaning towards playing super tight for a few rounds and see how the small stacks get on. More often than not I would think one of them is going to drop before I get to short myself. Aside from the J6 hand, which I played incorrectly from the start, I would have had plent of chips left carry on & still have the small stacks covered for hands such as the AJ where I busted.
