    Default overplaying pairs etc..

after watching a vid from grinderschool, i found a huge leak in tracker..

I am losing big time under the Misc stats page for high card and pairs, and im even in the negative with 2 pairs...

should I be in the negative on any of these ??

    whats the likely cause?
drawing without proper odds? committing without a good enough hand ??

    /sigh that page is gross

its hard to tell with no hand histories. post some.

but if i had to take a guess, it would be lack of aggression, and betting when you are ahead. essentially charging your opp very little to outdraw you.

ok i read that post, but in my database my 2 pairs are in the red..

i think im drawing for flushes when i dont have pot odds (NOOOOOOOOOOO)

    anyways,

heres something i see in my histories a little too often...

lets say you have KJ clubs on the button and are folded to,
you raise it up to 4x and BB calls.

    Flop comes 5c6hAc

lets say BB puts out a pot bet and is 20/15/2 over a large amount of hands..

so, where I struggle in the past is figuring out what odds to call a flop bet on... math tells me about 4:1 on turn and again on river...
so if Im counting on a flush to be the only card to give me the winning hand, should i ever be calling 2/3 - pot bets on the flop here?
maybe take 1 card and fold river?

what if I am out of position and I am the pre-flop aggressor?
if I hit this same flop, and my c-bet gets called, and miss the flush on the turn, am I betting the turn here? block bet???

or is it just a matter of only drawing theses hands when there are 3+ in the pot to give me the odds?

High card should be red. Pairs should be about break-even at minimicros (NL10 and lower) and slightly red higher up where opp's are getting to the river with decent hands most times.

2 pr should be very green, at most levels.

    I posted this:

Here's my take on two pair at micros from that thread:

I learned the value part first and started betting 2 pr like a fiend. I learned the vulnerable part later. I'm in the BB and get QJo, check after 4 limpers and the SB completing.Flop is QJ2. Yes, I consider T9 likely, among the 5 weak hands out against me. But there are several hundred other combinations likely, too. I fire a pot-sized bet, get 2 callers. I pot the turn (a K), and get a caller. I check the river (it's a 2), and villain checks. He shows K5 for a slightly better two pair, now that the board has paired on the river.

Still, I'm willing to stack off with 2 pair about 70% of the time at NL10, and that's not changing any time soon. I just know that, as of the flop, my hand is pretty much as strong as it will get without a miracle, and there are literally a dozen ways hands that are behind can catch up. So bet 2 pair HARD on the flop and turn. You're not getting any better hands to fold, usually, but you have to make anyone who's behind pay the price to see another card.
And post some HH's and PT stats.
