i guess in this hand whats our preflop action? shove? i def. thought about it. ATM i was just set-mining basically i assumed MP would call and we would take a 4 way flop. As played should we c-r or c-c turn? and why?

    First hand looks fine

For the second hand, I wouldn't just be calling with the intention of set mining here. I think both calling or 4betting small with the intention of getting it in would probably both be okay given how loose and aggro the villains are.

As played betting the turn is fine since there are plenty of worse hands that villains could call with like pair+draws or Ax because it was checked around.

Hand 2 is a very interesting pre-flop spot.

    What's the table texture?

Hand 1. I think I always bet the turn here. Probably bad.

Hand 2. Knowing how the games play at cake I'm really happy 4bet/getting it in pre vs these guys. Maybe less so vs the 3bettor but I don't think it can be bad.

does cake not have auto top-up? i think i prefer 4betting and getting in it in H2. we are very likely to end up going to the flop 4-handed when we cold-call so given we are likely to be OOP to 3 villains a lot of the time, and how many overcards can flop, we practically are setmining (which means C/Fing 90% of flops) or getting it in vs higher pairs on really dry or low flops. for this reason i think a 4bet/felt line will have a higher EV due to the equity we will have vs CO's shoving range (i imagine at least 40%) and the fact that CO and BU will also be folding their equity a reasonable amount of the time preflop. which isn't a bad result given we will be forced to C/F a high % of flops.

not sure if it's relevant here, but at more reg-infested stakes/sites, your image vs CO villain/recent table history/gameflow are pretty important factors here imo

tight!! holy shit it was like 18/4 or something ridiculous, i sat out my other tables when this hand came up to focus all my attention for a short time to read everyones stats, ( which there wasnt very much maybe hands >50) spots like this dont come around often on these tables so i found it extremely interesting. thought of shoving pre, but i think i fold out all the hands i beat/ahead of and really only get called by QQ+, AQ,AK and MAYBE TT if they think im shoving light in this spot. i mean 3x open, 3bet, coldcall and now on me with JJ?!! uggh.. not a comfortable spot imo
