Default QK vs maniac, pretty nutty

    treebet wants hands!
villain is 80-40 with 0% 3b over 20. Rest of the table is 13-8 autofold types. I raise preflop hoping to go HU in position. Too optimistic and fold pre?
flop and turn sizing? is this hand just a turn sizing mistake?

river i figure someone who knows how to aggro might try and raise vs perceived river weakness if i make it obvious enough, but i don't think he's calling a river overbet.

You beat me to it. Pre is a bit loose but fine with table conditions.
I go this sizing for sure on flop. Turn really sucks and I think I am getting folds a lot but I still bet anyway probably close to 4 since it will set up a larger river bet. River I probably bet 9 since we are betting a tonne of Kx/PPs/JX/and everything else is folding anyway. If we get shitty PPs to call this amount I don't think it makes up for the extra we make when we bet 9 and get Kx/Jx to call 100%.

pre is good if you have the right reasons for it (and you do). flop good. turn i go $3.50 because it won't change his calling range. river i do probably $7.5/fold or $8/fold

when you're sitting at a table full of a bunch of people there for one person, and you have KQo, and a chance to play with said person...well...y'know...

i think consensus is right, i could easily have cost myself 25bb due to my river betsizing - worked out lucky this time but next time bigger on turn then on river

    River: ($11.20, 2 players)
BB checks, daven bets $4.90, BB goes all-in $13.52, daven calls $8.62

    Final Pot: $38.24
BB shows two pair, Kings and Fives

daven shows two pair, Kings and Fives - Queen kicker

    daven wins $36.52 (net +$17.45)

    BB lost $19.07

yeah i didn't pay near enough attention to villain or stacks. now i think about it there is no course of action which can occur on this river which will cause me to fold this hand.
