    Default stats at 6h 5nl

sooooo just curious if someone could note places that I should make changes based on my stats. I want to try some changes and see how they work out, just keep tweaking to get used to it as I move up. anyways here are my stats:

Steal more (ATS 19%), maybe a little tight-passive pre for SH but sample size is really too small.

by tight passive do you mean that my VP$IP/PFR has too big of a difference, that my VP$IP is too low, or is that merely an extension on your comment about ATS?

Both. Stealing more in profitable situations will increase your VP$IP/PFR. Calling less pre and folding/3betting more will bring your PFR stat closer to your VP$IP. 15/10 isn't too bad but you're probably loosing some value here and there. But again, sample size is smallish. Post again after 20k. You're a winning player though, keep it up!

Steal more often. Stop posting the big blind in the CO. Let's see your general tab.

Say the blinds are $1/2. Posting in the CO means you're paying $2 to see 3 hands (2 if someone leaves), instead of paying $3 to see 6 hands (5 if someone leaves).

If this was FR posting in the CO would be more of an okay move.

@OP: You can probably open a slightly wider range than you are from CO and BTN (goes along with the stealing) Also, it looks like you only cbet 21% and fold the SB 92% of the time. I sure you can find some spots to 3bet people who are stealing and also find mroe spots to Cbet. It says you are only winning hands on the BTN 13% which makes me go This is also reflected in the fact that you have a 64% W$SD which clearly means you are only getting there with the tops of your range and @ 6m it's okay to be getting there a little bit lighter.

Steal much more, 25% Min + depending on table dynamics and your blinds. Seem to be fairly tight and passive postflop. I think you can also call some hands in the blinds but not many. Im talking about PP's that you can get alot of value from baddies that are super agro postflop. You can start 3b slightly more for bluffs and value against loose opponents who will fold to 3b in the SB and slightly in the BB, more value though most of the time nubs will call you with alot worse and you need to make sure your ahead of there range.

Sven, you're a nit. Next time you're in IRC throw your stats up in there, and we can talk about some stuff you can do open your game up bit by bit.

I mean, ffs I was 15 tabling 10nl FR the last two days and ran 15/13 with almost 6% 3bet. You gotta be willing to put some money in the pot. At 5nl 6m there are soooooo many 45/5's that you can just isolate the SHIT out of them and rape for fat value when you hit postflop.

You don't have to open up to crazy lag 28/25 or some shit, but getting up to 18/15-22/18 would be well worth your while. Don't try to jump right in, just gradually open up first your BTN then your CO ranges. Work on defending your blinds a bit more, etc.
