Hi everyone! Im just new here. Can anyone suggest the best poker site for beginners? It would really be a big help if you can specify the poker site and the bonus they give for beginners. Im planning to register and make a deposit tomorrow and of course play so please suggest the best poker site for a newbie like me. I would really appreciate it.

welcome to FTR . Check out the poker bonuses tab along the top which will get you into FTR direct sign up events. Crucial bits of info you can supply are have you already got any poker accounts ......which country are you from .......how much poker experience do you have......vital statistics and a pic......ok the last two are irrelevant but some of the guys here will appreciate it.
The main thing you do before you deposit is to make sure that you don't miss out on any rakeback deals that are going. This can cost you massive amounts of money over time if you don't get the rakeback when you sign up.
Read all of the posts in the beginners digest and especially concentrate on the bankroll management posts. In the panel on the left there is a link to poker videos . Watch spenda and jyms videos.

I think bodog is a great place to start off. 110% on your first deposit and the low limits are much softer than ft or stars. Only drawback is the min stake is .05/.10 nl

Need to know four things for bonus advice:
    - Country (US / non-US)
    - Type of game you play (cash / tourney)
    - Bankroll / stakes
    - Volume (hands / tourneys per month)

Stars is normally a good place to start for anyone with a bankroll <$250, no matter what country. Above that bankroll level your options expand, especially if you're non-US.

It would be handy to know how big/small a deposit you are thinking of making and what your experience is .

I'm new to this too, and still learning a lot. My experience is not high at all; mostly I've just played with friends around town. What is a rakeback? I'm mostly interested in playing where I don't have to put much out.
