    Default Recommend Poker Blogs?

Anyone have blogs I should be reading?

Or recommend blogs I should be reading?

Thanks. Looks like good info there.

But it's not being updated anymore, huh?

Well, it certainly looks like a good source of articles and info that will help me. I appreciate the link.

You need to study the BC stickys, not what some guy playing high stkes has to say about his life in some blog. There will not be any learning past what's posted right her on this site for where you are at.

ISFs blog > BC stickies, but read the stickies first. THEN read ISFs stuff. He goes into some more advanced concepts where knowing the basics and having some experience first would help.

Ok... I take your practical advice to heart.

    How about any *fun* blogs?

(I get that you all are getting sick of me, so I'm going to take a little break, let you get back to your serious poker stuff, while I work on my basics and immerse myself in the fun of it.)

Nobody is getting sick of you personally, and I'm sure most people are happy to see someone so enthusiastic. As you pointed out in your blog, it can be a "crabby bunch" here at times, so don't take anything to heart.
My guess is people are rather getting sick of the type of posts you make and feel that you should be posting more strategy questions (such as your post on limping, which was good) or posting hands that you played (are you aware of how to get a hand history from the poker software and convert it here on FlopTurnRiver?) and which you are unsure about, so people can offer you advice/critique.

Enjoying grinding is definitely key, but having fun and posting hands here for discussion and your improvement are by no means mutually exclusive.

TheBlueKnave-- I feel the same way about how my posts must be read.

Kiwimark-- thanks for the advice. I'll try posting some of my strategy questions as soon as I get them. Everything's really new to me still, so I'm not as good at that part. Still learning a lot.
