    Default 10NL : Limp3-bet by donk preflop

    (VP$IP/PFR [Street Aggression] 3-bet%)

    46/9 [3 2 inf] 0% over 124 hands.

Getting 4 to 1 and in position on 3-bettor i cant fold this hand right ?

    Poker Stars $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players

    SB: $10.05
    BB: $14.30
    UTG: $10.35
    MP: $9.65
    Hero (CO): $10.95
    BTN: $24.00

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is CO with J A
UTG calls $0.10, MP calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.50, BTN calls $0.50, 2 folds, UTG raises to $1, 1 folds, Hero ?

if it were AJs it's a call, but m2m's comment pretty much sums it up here

Pls justify me why our probably 4% equity increase makes that a call over AJo.

Sure, he probably has a small pp and we're not like super committed to the hand if he starts betting big.

First rule of the freerolls: don't talk about the freerolls

ah you were doing so well too, almost had the committee convinced you weren't a freetroller, and then you go and post this.

i'll admit that i forgot to check stack sizes before making this comment, but implied odds? i think he has a monster most of the times here.

I'd say he has KK+ here no more than half of the time
the rest of the time he has something retarded

we have odds to call and find out how much he likes his hand

for the record i'm not at all arguing against calling that miniscule bet here. i wouldn't personally do it, but i have no doubt you play it profitably in this scenario.

i was responding to Illfavor's questioning how the marginal increase in equity affects my decision here, pointing out that there's a phenomenal increase in implied odds if we have a suited ace versus TP3K type hand

I'm calling this for 0.50 more. Let's see how he reacts to the flop. Your not committed either so if you totally miss you can just throw it away.

AJ preflop is a pretty good starting hand. Personally I would want to see a flop. Hows the button and UTG table image. Do they raise with any pair or suited connectors or are they solid players? If UTG was a really solid player I would fold pay attention to their table images and betting patterns this can help the calling decision in a situation like this.

limp/minraise UTG at 10NL is going to be a "solid player" about once for every milenium
