Default river flush vs 'tard - 25nl sh

    button is nit.
sb is a 'tard running like god 56-21 with 21% 3-bet.
Pre-flop is standard cos i want to iso the sb and get rid of button. Flop, well, that's easy c-bet territory.
    Turn, taking the free card.
River bingo, villain has random 6 way more than the ace high flush, and is aggro with a hand. Small raise to induce >>> shove where he might notice the flush board??

    Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) - Party-Poker Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    Button ($24.44)
    UTG ($28.53)
    Hero (BB) ($25)
    SB ($129.43)
    MP ($29.71)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K, Q
2 folds, Button calls $0.25, SB calls $0.15, Hero bets $0.75, Button calls $0.75, SB calls $0.75

    Flop: ($3) 7, 9, 8 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.25, 1 fold, SB calls $1.25

    Turn: ($5.50) J (2 players)
    SB checks, Hero checks

    River: ($5.50) 5 (2 players)
SB bets $5, Hero raises $12.25,

Preflop I actually raise to $1-$1.25. Button isn't going to limp/fold for a 3x open when he's IP. He might give more respect to a bigger raise though. This also builds a bigger pot vs the fish and makes it easier to get the money in the middle.

    Flop fine, turn fine.

River is he dumb enough to jam over when you raise with a 6 here? If not, obviously ship it. I probably still ship it in since it is also completely reasonable that he hit a flush on the river. Also, he can have either a T or a 6 for the straight, and (if hes as nutso as you seem to think) will probably call a ship with either here.

I shove it and lol when he calls with J4.

I think a huge raise is in order

i definitely raise more preflop, lest i expect to be called down by like 75% of fish's range. small note: i think that "Calls PFR" is an underrated HUD stat, and is very useful at micro limits where fish treat PFR's with different levels of respect. it's nice to know that he's playing 56% of his hands, but this still doesn't really tell us much about his limp/calling range.

anyway, flop seems more intriguing to me than you're giving it credit, though i don't feel at all qualified to comment on it.

turn is a c/c'ing situation with your combo draw.

and now to the good part: i think river needs a bigger raise. I think villain is calling a fifteen-eighteen dollar raise with just as wide a range as he's calling a twelve fifty raise, and it makes our decision a helluva lot easier if he pushes over.

i was also thinking checking flop, that's why i was surprised he daven called it an obvious cbetting situation. but are we c/c'ing? c/eval? i doubt we're c/f'ing w FD+overs.

as far as river, i like the jam more than the small raise, but might fish have just enough of a brain to fold his 6 or his T, as opposed to an eighteen dollar bet or so?

my standard in this spot is 5BB pre

I like cbetting the flop bigger actually because he can call with a dominated straight draw on the flop, we have a definite equity edge on the flop vs. sb's calling range

so I'd like to get a bet in on the flop, check turn, and shove river
I think it's a better line than check flop, call turn, shove river because we're putting in bets when we are a favorite and we have the option of betting all three streets if we hit on the turn

HU w/ the SB I'm def. cbetting, not quite sure what a non-descript nitreg limps on the button with but this seems like the kind of range (i.e. middle pps and connecting hands)

with sb running like god,he's not folding 80% of the time,so I'd love to jam on the river-so profitable-with 20% we get to take $10 pot-still +EV.math is kinda messed up,oh well

if we were against btn,i might take the 12.50 line,as he's folding his T and worse, and will still only call baby flushes.
