    Default big stack strategy

I'm new to this community so hello everybody.

There has been a few tourneys in which I've been able to build humongous stacks in early/mid stages. But I've noticed that whenever this happens I seat back and become defensive. What I mean is that I don't have a big stack strategy and whenever I get one if I don't get good hands I'll become an average stack in the late stages, or even a short one.

Have any of you read a book, article, video, etc. related to this issue?

    Thanks.

I gues the solution is to attack, but I have lost my stack trying that. That's the reason I'm trying to study about it.

First off, you may want to try the MTT section on this board - this is the Ring game forum. Read the MTT stickies - http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...st-t36038.html - I think Soupie's guide is still pretty good and makes you think. then read all the threads in the MTT forum. even after all that, you will still lose your big stack again and again, that's the nature of MTTs - but the occasional wins/high placings will more than make up when they happen!
