I have been playing at 10NL and was thinking of getting poker tracker. Besides tracking your own stats, what else does it do. I always see those "read outs" that people use to determine how others play. For example, I saw this: "UTG is running 15/5/0.75 over quite a few hands." What do those three numbers mean? Are they from PT?

If the are from PT, do people who have it check up other people as they are playing?

Basically I want to know if poker tracker does anything else besides keep your own stats. I am going to get tho shortly!

First number is VP$IP (voluntarily put money in the pot percentage). Second number is PFR (pre flop raise percentage). Third number is aggression factor. They are all numbers from pokertracker.

You can get software to display a HUD with players stats on the table as you play. Gametime+ is free, but no longer being updated. PokerAce HUD is much better, but costs $25. When you get pokertracker, you can try them out (PAHUD has a trial version)

Yeah, definitely worth it though IMO. If you feel you don't want to spend the money it costs you could always take it through one of the promotions they're running on their site. I can't remember the terms right now, but I think some of them are really easy.
