I just cant win!!!!!!

I have been plaing poker off and on for awile now and just recently started again. I deposited $50 into my old UB account (no rake back) And am down to $23.77 now. Ihave been playing tight aggresive, downloaded PT and after about 11k hands my VPIP is 19.58. I am rally trying to stay commited to the tight aggresive stratagy, but it feel like after i fold for 30min and finnaly get a good raising hand I just get kicked in the nuts and get sucked out on. I SWEAR I AM REALLY TRING TO DO THIS RIGHT!!! I am just getting so frusterated by hearing all these people winning with the same exact stratgy I am using and I am down half my bank roll. Right now my goal is to just get myBR back to $50 and then I will go from there but this is just horrible. Does anyone have any add. advice for me, or should i just suck it up and hope i hit an upswing before i go bust.

Yeah and what are your preflop raise % and aggression factor? Also what limits are you playing (I assume $.01/.02 blinds as its withing your roll and at any other level a $25 downswing would not be something to get mad about). Also post some hands so people can really critique your play. VP$IP is only one stat in poker and you can have a VP$IP that is good, but you could have other horrible leaks in your game that make you a loosing player. Also 11K hands isn't a huge sample size, so you could just be running bad. If you wanted you could download PokerEV and look at your all-in luck to give you an idea of how bad you are running.

Raise more preflop and aggression factor probably should be higher, although the aggression factor will go up if you raise more preflop. Post some hands!!

Your preflop raise should be close to your VP$IP. Just focus on raising more calling less. Also remember to play more hands with late position and fold more hands with earlier position. When you raise more preflop your aggression factor will go up so you may not need to work on that as much, but I think it should be over 3. Bigspenda73 made a nice little microstakes 6max video that you would probably benefit from watching

From what I've read in this thread so far, it sounds like you're a new player who is losing money (which is to be expected). You're wondering why you're losing, and you might even be motivated enough to try to do something about it. If so, you've come to the right place.

Well there is your problem. =)

I've never played 6max, but I really find it hard to believe a new player could succeed at it as well as they could FR in the beginning. I mean I could totally be off base here, but you are playing a wider range of starting hands due to the number of players. Because of the weaker hands you will be in harder postflop decisions, as well as the showdown hands will be weaker. Seems it would require a good deal more expertise at hand reading, and reads, which is something a new player hasn't quite developed yet.

We can let a better player chime in on that, as I don't know much for sure. But from your 19/5 stats it shows you are clearly limping too much and not raising preflop enough. Remember that when you open a pot with a bet that not only do you have the chance of hitting your hand and winning, but you also have the added benefit of possibly stealing the pot preflop. It gives you the intiative that you want. So focus on when you decide to enter a pot, come in for a bet/raise instead of a limp/call. And when you do make a hand don't get tricky. Just bet the hell out of your good hands, and they will pay you off.
