Ring games replenishing your stack

Hi Guys,
I have been lurking on this site for 4 months now and using the advice here have built up my BR from $67 (50 Euro) to over$400 at Bet356 (Prima). Thanks More from SNG and MTT than Ring so I want to improve the ring side of my game especially as I don't always have the time to play a tourney.

My first Question is this (others will come later)

I always buy into a game with the full wack $10 (5/10BB) or $20 (10/20BB) the level at which I play at the moment - I assume this is a good idea buying in as less seems to me to as being a sign of weakness /lack of confidence . When should I restack 75%, 50%, 25% other% if I have been on a loosing streak for whatever reason - being blinded , bad beat or my mistake.

Try to be full stacked at all times, after all you dont want 75% stack when you get dealt AA

Thanks Miffed I figured so but nearly everyone busts down to nothing before leaving or restacking so thus the question there could have been a logical reason I was míssing ! .

I always rebuy when I loose 1/5 my stack.

I rebuy when my stack goes down 5% - 10%. One tip to keep in mind when transitioning from Tourny to Ring is table image means almost nothing until you reach stakes higher than 50NL. When I switched from SNGs to ring, I tried to use my tight image to steal a couple hands. It cost me alot of money before I realized people don't pay attention much.

I have been thinking about this lately and im not sure its always best to buy in for the full amount. If i take a seat at a table full of players i know are fish sitting with $2 stacks, but i am out of position to a guy I know is a solid, pretty decent player (for my stakes) sat with $5 then im not going to buy in for the full $5 because the only way im going to be making descisions for that amount is out of position against someone who might be able to outplay me. Id much rather sit there with $3 and have the chance of taking a fishes whole stack but not losing mine to a good player.
If i have position of the big stack, or he isnt a good player, or he is very predictable and lets me know when he has good cards I will buy in for the full amount but i dont think it is always the best option.

Like all things, balance is reuired. For the most part you want a full stack so that you can double up properly. But from time to time you should allow yourself to get low, and watch carefully how the action changes. You'll get more calls.

Adjust! You need more than one game! I agree that always-full is your default setting, but you can't always control that.

I have been folloowing the advice given for the last 10 days by keeping myself pretty well full stacked, unless all other players are short stacked as well. My BR has increased by 15% so, while not enough games have been played to say It has a direct benifit on my game statistically, I will continue to do - also I am sure that when I am loosing I have a tendency gto tighten up too much so with out my loss staring me in the face I am playing a more consistant game.
