If the res on your screen isn't high enough to tile and still see the tables rather well, then you should look into cascading. I currently cascade 14 tables on a 17" (shitty res) laptop. There is absolutely no way I could play more than like 4 tables tiling, without massive overlap. And even though I cascade, I can't stand the kind of overlap you get from tiling (just all random it seems).
