Why are jacks so hard to play?

The opponent is pretty tight player, but very aggressive postflop.

I probably lean towards checking here becuase we'll have good relative position if the aggressive button bets.

If the blind folds we can call and likely be well ahead of villains range. If the blind calls then..I dunno, probably a fold.

really? you're not even calling for set value?

as far as the hand's concerned i'm also stumped. i would put him on TP who is scared of the straight possibility, but he checked the turn? raising the river is my first instinct but i don't think he's calling with worse than your split pair

we do not have odds to go looking for a 2 outer...

c/c an agressive player is your best option. Hes gonna be trying to buy that pot 1 or 2 streets w/air a lot. As micro said, if BB calls, you should fold. Also, if aggro checks behind and BB checks turn you can be pretty sure you have the best hand.Then you can get 1 or 2 streets of value against weaker pairs, flush draws, and missed flush draws improving to a weak pair.
