    Default When to start analysing?

    Hey gang,

I know that for a real idea of how a player plays we need a high # of hands as a sample size but I was wondering at what point do you begin to look at your stats, positional game, winrate (and anything else I may have forgotten)? I'm guessing that the hand #s for each area of the game would/could have a different starting point.

    Every day, after every session.

You don't feel that this causes you to micromanage your game too much?

I don't manage my game nearly enough as I should.

i dont look at my stats more than maybe twice a month mostly due to how much variance is in small samples.

if i were to play lower volume id suggest every 50-100k hands or so.

Bikes, I can only comfortably play five tables at a time. I've wondered if playing in 10K hand burst before checking my stats would be okay? The small amount I play would mean that this would be a check once or twice a month on average.
