What starting hand groups and what should my VP$IP number be

We all want to be TAA, but I usually end up rated SLAA with a VP$IP of around 24. I basically raise 4xBB with Group 3 and up hands, and limp with any 2 painted cards, wired pairs and the occasional suited connectors.
Am I playing too loose by limping with Group 4 and below? Am I not being aggressive enough by limping with those groups?

Just looking for opinions and to improve my game. Not having a "problem" per se.

Yea. I limp anything that can flop a nut straight. Except, of course, the ones I raise with.

I have PT.
I've tracked 6310 hands, but I've played probably 4-5x that. I don't always track.

nothing wrong with slaa esp if youre a winning player..
stop trying to conform to perfect statistics.

winning poker is winning poker. you're winning with a style that is tough to play well.

the only statistic that really matters: the one where it says "bankroll."

I used to have similar stats. And I'm not saying you should change yours at all. I lowered my VP from around 23 to 19.5 just because I got more and more frustrated with all the tough decisions I had to make while multitabling (I'm fairly new to online play). I still limp with mediocre hands, but I pretty much confine them to the last three seats before the button (mostly).

It wouldn't hurt to try it just to see if you win more money this way. But there's really nothing wrong with SLAA.

I have no idea what hands are included in which group but you really cant just say that "playing these hands in these spots is good". Position and reads are much more important. Why dont you track all of your hands? Looking at the biggest winning and losing hands should also give you some idea. Like if KQ is a loser you should review some losing KQ hands and check were you, for instance, calling 3X EP raise with KQ.

I thought about this some more and came up with the reason that I like to limp these hands:

1) I don't have a problem laying them down to strong shows of force by tight players, so I don't lose very much on them.
2) When I hit hard, they pay well.
3) When they make 4 to a straight, the tables I play are usually so passive that I often catch up for FREE. Even when someone else hits, they try to slowplay and give free cards. These hands can draw to the nuts, and then the guy slowplaying you gets pwned.
