What do your player notes look like?

c on second line stands for "calls" and 3 indicates 3$
MR stands for minraise, and i label those that minraise to 2 bb with AA/KK

I label people capable of semibluffs, or those that abuse it

LAP s are those guys that call down to river with less or = to TPTK

IC means "incorrect call" meaning he will call given IC odds

you basically write hes hand standards, what kind of stuff the person is capable of

I immediately write "?-?" into any persons notes whom I have played against or watched.

As I get more information on them these ratings change to one of the following:
T-P (Tight - Passive), T-A (Aggressive), L-P (Loose) or L-A
(I also use question marks to denote how confident I am about this read of their play)

I also note whether I think they are super calling stations (CS) or fish, if they are a maniac or if they play at multiple tables (MTP - this warns me if they start taking interest in a hand at your particular table they could very well hold a monster).

Along with these I also take note of pre flop raises, especially if I get to see their hole cards and if a player has proven to slow play very good cards (as another warning).

An example would be:
L-A? (Maniac?)
Raised $4 PF w/ 9To, $6 PF w/ QJ
Has played ~90% of hands

Mine usually read something along the lines off.....

"Stupid fish! Calls down with 24o!
Die! Die! Die!"


Seriously though, does anyone here take notes on ub? I dont see the point, as there doesnt seem to be any display of which players you have notes on, without right clicking on each player on the table every time you sit down.

With a better system I would probably take it more seriously. Or maybe Im just missing something.

Mine usually consist of a player description, passive, tight, aggressive, etc.
I also put what they raise or call with preflop. You really have to watch hands that you are not in though. THat is when i get most of my info. I also like to make notes of differences or lack there of when people ar eplaying shorthanded. This helps me a lot.

I like AllIn Life's system.. but mine sounds more like what Wet_DreaMer described

Mine range from huge generalities (Tagg, Lagg, Fish, easy to scare, defends blinds a lot, probably bluffs too much) to descriptions of very specific situations: "Called to river with 88 on a board of AQ373"

ususally my notes compare to flying saucer's. Slowplays big hands too much, will call to river or showdown with draw or second pair, doesnt pay attention to odds ( this one is kind of hard to tell somtimes but i love to have it cause it shows me how experianced the player im taking notes on is. If they call more then once with out proper outs to draw i tag them with on of these notes and it helps a lot later on.)
