Default Is watching WSOP bad for you?

A question on a current topic, is watching WSOP (or similar events) bad for your game? Of course I'm talking about a player who already has a fairly solid game, not a complete donk. As in, you _know_ not to try any of that crap in your own game, but I wouldn't be surprised if something unconsciously slips in, maybe when you're in a tough spot and remember a similar hand from the event. Or conversely, do you feel you can learn something from the events? I enjoy watching them, but I'm worried I'll pick up bad habits and start doing funky stuff in my own game.

"Funky stuff" you see is usually based on that players read as they sit with the same opponents for hours. I'm sure my play would look erratic in a vacuum if I sat with the same people for hours as well.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

working myself up to FTR fullhouse status while not giving 1 solid piece of advice
i have read several posts were people say something about how they saw a play on tv and why did it work for them and not for me etc...

as long as you realize its for entertainment and thats not really the way the game goes...think about it - they cram a entire day of poker into an hour - your only going to see the craziest stuff and huge moves....its fun to watch, and if it inspires you to think about your game its good - just take it for what it is...entertainment -

    Exactly as said above.
    See it as entertainment.

Just don't watch it while you play in case something does just spark up in your brain. Or for that matter anything like it, such the EPT which for the UK coverage has one completely clueless commentator who says such gems as:

"thats a tremendous laydown isn't it John" a player in MP folds a qjos to an UTG 4xBB raise near the bubble.

Oh dear, makes me play terribly just imagining that man could be watching my game.

Leaving the building.......thank you very much
I think its probably all good for you! What I mean by that is, the WSOP coverage must attract more inexperienced players to the online tables, and many of them will emulate some of those plays they saw Gus Hansen or whoever make, which without the experience and reads of these players, has got to be $$$ for us!
