    Default vs. LAG

I am writing this as a way to stop a leak of mine. I have a problem playing against LAGs. I am often outplayed, and eventually go all in with a mediocre hands. This happens all the time, or get called an all in when they have a solid drawing hand, and make their draw. I lose more money to these players then anyone else. Mostly because I loosen up too, but I am not as good in reading players as they are.

What I think I need to do is just keep my composure, and continue playing my TAG game.

Only problem is, I sometimes get called off pots with TPTK by a very strong re-raise cause I Don't know if they have 2 pair or a set. Frankly I just hate playing against these guys. I think I am even getting scared of them.

If you sit at a table against a strong LAG oout of position, get up. Find a new table or try to reseat on their left, or with them directly across from you (in utg when you are the button).

If you are sitting at a table with players that you dont feel comfortable with, then leave. Nobody cares, you know?

Work on controlling the size of the pot when you dont feel comfortable with your hand, but you also dont want to fold. I like to check the turn IP and check call the river with marginal top pairs, often youll end up either winning abigger pot by inducing the bluff or reducing the damage from a better hand.

    Dont take blind stealing personally.
Me? I always tell the truth.

    Even when I lie.

    Hahaha. I own your soul.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

don't laugh at me, help me. Frankly, I envy you guys, and every now and then I delve in the LAG world. It is mainly a -EV for me now, but I feel I am paying for an education and am willing to pay for. I think that is what bankroll management is all about, playing without the fear of loosing a few buyins

    izybx: good advice, thanx
I think next time I play against 1, I will post a few hands.

what stakes? usually there really aren't enough good lags around to worry about at low stakes.
Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject. So you know you are getting the best possible information.

Post some HH. You could be a weak-tighty or loose passive and those with PT have a good read on you. I'm sure some of us can fix that. Against low level donks, play tight and aggressive and you will win.

I play 50NL, but I just recently joined pokerroom for their $250 signup bonus. Unfortunatly they have very poor hand history display. frankly I do not like the pokersite, and once I clear my bonus I am outta there.

I usually play TAG, almost always c-bet, raise when I have the best of it, and fold when I know I am beat. I rarely call, I am more of a bet, raise, fold kinda player. I do not have any hand histories, but I do have some examples

Example 1: I have AQ, I raise 5xBB $2.5 in MP LAG calls, limper calls, flop is QT4 rainbow, I I bet $7 pot, LAG raises $21, I fold.

Example 2: I have AQo in MP I raise 4xBB LAG ahead of me calls. Flop is all undercards rainbow I c-bet 3/4 pot, LAG does 3xraise, I fold, I rebuy

Example 3: I have AJo in LP I bet 5xBB cause there was 1 limper the LAG. LAG calls. flop Js8h2s. I bet 3/4 pot, LAG does 3xraise. I call, next card is junk. I fire second barrel, he raises I am all in. he has 8s7s and a spade comes out on river, I rebuy.

Example 4: I have QQ in LP I rase 6xBB cause there are 2 limpers LAG calls, pot is $6 flop is rags rainbow. I bet $5 pot LAG raises $20 I call next card is K. I bet I bet the rest of my stack which is $23 LAG calls and shows AK. I rebuy. I actually know my mistake this hand, I should have re-raised him all in on the flop.

example 5: I am button with AA, almost everyone limps in I raise 7xBB, LAG calls another player calls. flop is 6s8s9h pot is about $10. LAG checks, I bet $8, lag raises $24 I am all-in, LAG calls, and shows T7 offsuit.

BTW these are a few examples from what I can remmember 3 different sessions against 3 different LAGs.
