Suddenly I suck at poker
Okay, the last week and a half I have been sucking at poker. I don't know what happened... It is frustrating as hell...
I play three places:
1) Online (Paradise Poker) -- I went from $170 down to $30 in the last week.
2) Local bar (Cash game) -- The guys that play there are gamblers and are pretty loose. Usually I walk out of there ahead at least $50-60, but yesterday I walked out down; first time ever...
3) Local Indian casino -- They only have limit poker. Usually I can just play fairly tight and walk out of there up $20-60. Yesterday I dumped $100.
If it was just one or two losses, I wouldn't be so frustrated, but I'm getting killed on all fronts. I feel like I've forgotten how to play well. It's like perma-tilt.
How do you guys deal with this kind of thing? Now when I'm playing, I feel like I'm trying to prove to myself that I'm still a good player. This is not a good state of mind to be in while playing poker...
