Stoxev and Pokerstove Holecard range differences

    Default Stoxev and Pokerstove Holecard range differences

    Anyone know why these are so different. You know when you move the slider bar to top 20% or something, the programs give different results and both are supposed to be the top 20% as far as I know.

    Look at the example below. Which one is better?

    Well doing a few equity calculations in Stoxev shows me pokerstove is more accurate of what the top % is. Too bad they dont use the same formula.

    pokerstove is hot and cold equity
    stox gives you the best playable hands

    Can you explain hot and cold equity a little bit, I'm not positive what it is. Thanks.
