So I was getting kind of sick of no one calling me w AA...
and I decided I was going to start taking peoples blinds. And more than just from the CO+.
I opened up my HUD and put in cold call (its called call open in HEM) and did some calculations.
If every time its folded around to me I'm opening for 20c (5nl) to win 7c, than
.07/.2 = .35
1/1.35= .74
So I have to win 74% of the time for it to be profitable which makes sense if you do
.74* .07 - .26* .2
.0518 - .052 = -.0002
so probably more like 75%- which means everyone's cold call percent behind me added up has to equal 25% or less if I'm instafolding every flop.
Anyways, every time it was folded around to me I raised 20c w any two cards if the cold call of the people behind me added together was 25% or less- which allowed for lots of steals w K5o from late middle position.
The one restriction I made was that I had to have recorded at least 50 hands on every opponent before I started stealing outside of the CO, and I'm not sure that's even enough.
I ran 17/14/3.45 an ats of 46.1 over 1223 and earned a buy in of W$woSD.
Anyways, I'm just curious if I'm like a complete idiot or if all my calculations make sense.
