What exactley are sit n go`s and mmt i see them in posts and dont quite understand what they are, I have an idea but what are the differences. thanks![]()

SNGs are tournaments of 9-10 people. You start out with 800-1500 chips and small blinds. Every 10-15 minutes the blinds go up. Usually the top three are paid out (50/30/20). | |

SnGs may typically be 1 table....but they come in 2 and 3 table varietys as well. The biggest destinguishing factor is that MTTs are scheduled tournaments that begin at a pre-determined Day and Time. SnG tournaments are "pick-up" games....meaning once all the seats at the tables are full the tourney immediately begins. | |
