Checking behind was the advice I got from some other friends as well.
I usually c-bet most flops in position if checked to me. This could be a leak in my game. But I'll remember to check behind against loose passive players in the future.

I dont have any stats software so I couldnt know whether he would fold to my flop c-bet, turn c-bet etc.

So, the lesson here is: Check back on bad flops against loose passive players and start off with 100BBs.
