preflop positional stats -> obv leaks? - fr

so, fullring and nit gotta nit cos i was getting silly with playing too many hands and it was costing me sanity. So i played a couple of sessions trying to tighten up, and it worked, dropped vpip by 9 and etc. But, still seems leaky some, particularly sb and calling too much from bb and button. Anything else jump out as places to focus on preflop? and yeah, in b4 'that 0.8% utg open limp seems pretty high.'

You should be ashamed - almost as nitty as me!

Only 2 differences I can see from my own stats are you are a lot looser on the BTN - but i think this is to do with table volume rather than choice - and your MP1 VPIP is much looser than mine (assume you are raising all PPs?)

But again thats probably workload per table for me vs what id play if i played less tables.

Kind of surprised at your 'lowish' AGG stats in Lp position as well - they look like my AGG levels when i fell into b/e even play for 200k hands playing too much fit/fold

Out of curiosity - i saw a post by mpethybridge (sp) about river call efficency, and now cant find it.

What is yours over such a sample?

yeah, 15 tables<<<<<24. MP1 i open most pairs most of the time, yep

this could be due to me calling pre quite a lot from co and particularly button? not sure

by position there are four NAs, so not sure if the sample size is enough? overall in that sample it's 1.5, made up of 0, 0, 15.3, 1.8, and 8.

Pretty sure RCI is completely worthless unless your sample size is absolutely massive. I mean come on you have so many obvious river calls/folds(or at least they should be) that the times you actually seriously have to sit their and count combos aren't going to make a huge difference on the overall stat. It's only useful if you are calling WAY too much or folding WAY too much otherwise it's probably the most worthless stat.

Also looking at SB/BB and isn't as valuable as looking at SB/BB versus steal attempts.

Suspect I have the call too much leak.... Mine look pretty crap over 100k

cheers - I had been defending too much and probably badly and now it seems i've gone the other way. I was basically just giving away my blinds over this sample, without really noticing. Looks like i call too much vs steals, forgetting that positional disadvantage is huge - I need to think about how this is affected when ranges are poorly defined.

sb vs steal: fold - 84% raise - 6%
bb vs steal: fold - 80% raise - 10%
