I just set my tables up like this, and it's pretty badass. I've yet to actually play while using this setup, but seems like it will be a beautiful experience. Give it a try if you want.
As for your problem as a whole, there are numerous things you could do.
(1) Change the size of the tables. That is make them smaller so that you can still see the action, but the tables don't overlap as much.
(2) Cascade them. Cascade is a pretty functional way of multitabling. In cascade the tables overlap nearly completely, except for a bit at the top which allows you to flip back and forth through the tables.
(3) Stack them. That is effectively what they link I provided will set you up for. Stacking has it's advantages, but also it's disadvantages. Advantages would be things like less eye movement, less wrist movement, less screen surface area taken, which makes for quicker decisions. Disadvantages would be the inability to keep track with all of the action going on as you would be able to do with tile. However, the link, if setup properly, will allow you to (with the click of a button) bring whatever table you which out of the stack so you can focus on the action.
