Default open ended straight draw against a fish's all in .

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    BB ($3.32)
    UTG ($2)
    MP ($3.55)
    CO ($2.39)
    Hero (Button) ($2.36)
    SB ($2.99)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q, 10
1 fold, MP calls $0.02, CO calls $0.02, Hero raises to $0.08, 3 folds, CO calls $0.06

    Flop: ($0.21) J, 9, 9 (2 players)
CO bets $2.31 (All-In), Hero folds

Villain was 94/3 and I'd seen him go to showdown with 3rd pair. I'm happy with my fold as I think I have 8 outs for the straight giving 1 in 3 chance of doubling up if that wins.
In this situation should I have allowed anything for pairing the Q if the villain had paired the J or been playing a smaller pocket pair.
I eventually stacked him when he did a similar play into my aces.

Preflop: Hero is MP with A, A
UTG calls $0.02, Hero raises to $0.10, 4 folds, UTG calls $0.08

    Flop: ($0.23) Q, K, 8 (2 players)
    UTG bets $2.06 (All-In), Hero calls $2.06

    Turn: ($4.35) 3 (2 players, 1 all-in)

    River: ($4.35) 10 (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Total pot: $4.35 | Rake: $0.20

looking at this hand again ,Ive just realised how much of a drawy hand it was and as it was against this very loose player I instantly called without thinking too deeply. If I had thought about it I could well have talked myself into folding especially against a tighter player where I could well have been in major trouble. He showed down Kh2c so was all in on TPNK

Both of these hands are fine postflop but what's interesting is that you raised 4x with QTo when there were two limpers and raised 5x with AA when there was one limper. Was this a conscious decision? Raise more preflop in hand 1, that is all.

For Hand 2, you seriously consider a fold viable in retrospect? Why?

Hand 1: It doesn't matter how fishy someone is if they're going all-in and you don't have a hand. Assume they have at least ace high and your 8, K, and Q outs will all win.

Because of the massive overbet you need to be pretty much a coinflip to call (11:12). 14 outs twice is a flip, you only have 11, so it's a fold.
