Default An off topic question about click speed while playing.

Does this in anyway alter what your opponent thinks you have?

    Examples..
If you bet fast on the scare card.

If you click real fast when u call.

You bet asap as soon as checked to you as the preflop raiser.( Continuation bet)

Does this seem to alter ur opponents decisions? Does it make ur opponents think your a maniac/dont think often? I think this could be a sorta leak/tell in my game and was curious how you would fix this.

Timing tells. Yes, I use them. Yes, I try to avoid making them.
TheXianti: (Triptanes) why are you not a thinking person?

The only tell I generally try to pick-up on is where a few players have ticked the 'check' button behind me. And I will then generally bet after the next card, unless it's a big scare card.

I use this play when I flop a monster. Nut str8 or full house. If I auto check they will maybe catch up or at the least call my bluff on later streets more often than not. It's a great way to get an agressive opponent to raise you on the turn or river

    No hindsight for the blind.
I don't use them or care about giving them away. I'm playing 5 tables at the moment and already the time to devote to these things is getting limited. I would like to add more tables, and I think that getting or giving timing tells is going to make little difference in my winrate.

Ya, I failed to mention, when A guy plays multi table or has a bad connection or gets up to get a drink, and your thinking " hey he's thinking alot about this, what does this mean" your on the wrong page. At a live table maybe bet times mean something, but online, prolly not. I would put no stock in anything I can't see. Bet amounts, PT, stack sizes and flop texture is my read.

Halvsame. Time to change your sig. It's being proven wrong as we speak.

I usually try to take the same amount of time playing every hand. I only ever use auto if im folding pre flop.
