If you are looking to multi table I would recommend obv once you know you are a winnnig player to drop down in stakes where is dosn't matter to lose a buy in or two. I moved to nl2 until I could do 9 table and was comfortable. Before that I could only do 4. Once I did 9, 12 wasn't really that much harder. I do not use any other software other than Holdem Manager for my hud. I minimize all my screens to the smallest available and lay them out tile pattern. There is actually a tile or cascade option on stars that will auto align your tables for you. I originally had 1 22" flatscreen and could do 15 tables on one screen with a minimum amount of overlap. I always sit at the same seat so I am not looking around the table and or getting confused. I picked up a second 22" monitor and can do 24. But as said above the more tables the less quality desicions based off time and information that is available.
