    Default KQo @ 5nl 4 way action.

SB is 6/2 over 50 hands
No reads on the other players.

My plan is to bet fold flop. I really didn't expect all of them to call.

Im a bit lost on how I construct a range against 3 opponents. All I know if I bet I have to call everyone but the SB, who i can be sure has me beat due to his stats. The others might get crazy with some draws, plus there are lot of middle pair hands to. Really I am just lost. Since the pot is so bloated.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    saw flop

    SB ($5.44)
    BB ($9.93)
    UTG ($7.50)
    UTG+1 ($13.42)
    Hero (MP1) ($5.26)
    MP2 ($4.01)
    MP3 ($5.60)
    CO ($2.08)
    Button ($7.53)

    Preflop: Hero is MP1 with Q, K
    2 folds, Hero bets $0.20, MP2 calls $0.20, MP3 calls $0.20, 2 folds, SB calls $0.18, BB calls $0.15

    Flop: ($1) 10, Q, 8 (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $0.65, MP2 calls $0.65, MP3 calls $0.65, SB calls $0.65, 1 fold

    Turn: ($3.60) 2 (4 players)
    SB checks, HERO?

Not a big fan of KQo oop in general then you add two additional peeps behind you and it just looks shitty. I would probably just c/f tbh. I think it's reasonable to believe that somewhere in ALL those ranges there are just so many possiblitys that we are behind.

I disagree too many draws here and 2p/sets/straights woudl need to raise for protection vs so many opps. I'd just shove this turn.

Harley, its 5nl and it is MP1. There is little risk of someone trying to 3 bet bluff me here, plus most poeple will play very straightforward on flop and turn, So I am not likely to get owned by someone playing 55 when a single over card drops.

It's just a matter of styles, raising KQo MP1 is fine, but people on the tighter side of life may fold it.

I'd shove the turn like Muzz. There's a massive number of gutters, flush draws, mid pair + draw hands out there and even if everyone folds their draws we still scoop a solid 3/5 of a BI from the pot.
[00:29] <daven> dc, why not check turn behind

Agree with Harley. KQo in MP1 is pushing it at 5nl. Maybe I'ma bit tight but I'm not opening it til the HJ. It is the micros and I think tight goes a long way here.

This sentence really made me lol, not entirely sure why, it just sounds so pathetically cautious. - No offence Ahole, I'm sure you can play that way profitably.

i'm pretty neutral about preflop. definitely opening KQs here but whatever. on a wet flop with a top pair/decent kicker hand against (presumably) passice opponents, i like betting more. and i like bet/folding too. like perhaps 0.90 or pot. doubt that'll change calling ranges significantly, if at all, but bigger sizing reduces implied odds for any two clubs, KJs,KJo etc.

in ur accounts... confiscating ur funz
pot flop. It won't change the calling range.
pre I'd rather have KQo than AJo or ATs there. When people stack off with TP a and 2nd pair a lot, TPGK goes way up in value. You can probably open that profitably UTG. KQs for sure.
As played you can c/f or shove if you think they'll call with draws and weired shit. Actually 3.5 and shove any river might be more optimal cos people are stupid.

Why are you betting so small on a wet 4 way flop? Just pot it and probably fold to a shove. As played turn is a brick so I'd jam.

Yeah, you are right about the flop, I should go bigger. I tend to bet more, I guess I got scared due to multi way. Lack of experience in weird situation sucks.

Thanks for input, though sadly, this is prob not a common situation.

Also, I open KQs UTG about 20% of the time, when I feel like it. I suspect this is too nitty.

only time I fold KQs UTG is when i'm distracted and don't feel like playing hands. I usually end up closing the tables soon after. my stats are 18/15 so I don't know how tight your stats would be folding that from MP
