KK facing minraise on flop OOP

first hand with villian so no stats, although he bought in for 100bb if that indicates anything about his standard of play. managed to stuff up the hand conversion to some extent too i think.

standard 25NL situation. flop an overpair OOP, get minraised. minraises are so overused at these stakes and the player pool so broad that i find it hard to discern what they are all about without any history or notes. although it seems that more often than not its someone who is excited with their hand and presses the "raise" button accordingly.

Something got messed up when you used the hand converter ...

pretend the flop part does not say "Hero bets $1, 2 folds, ", and the turn does not say "[color=#CC3333]". i would redo it but i dont know how to find the hand again.

This to me seems really standard of a flopped set.

In CO he could be playing AJ AT, Suited connectors, or any pair, and the flop raise could be to see where he is at.

By taking a passive line on the turn you showed weakness and put yourself in an awkward position.

I mean I kind of do not like reraising on the flop but if we do how much do we make it? like a raise to $10?

But taking your line on the flop what is wrong with making it like 7 on the turn? if he comes over the top dump it, but if he calls we are in same position on the river, we are most likely checking and left with what to do if he best us and most likely has the best hand.

As played I think you have to call the Turn, you could very well be behind but the bet is small enough that you have to call it. Hopefully the river is a blank we check and he fires out another half size pot? have to call again?

Seems like it would have been cheaper just to reraise on the flop and find out where you are and fold if he shoves.

prozachnation - i usually don't like raising "for information" (especially not 3-betting OOP) but it may well be warranted here on the flop if i think he will bet more on the turn (and only with better hands than mine) than the cost of my info raise. firing the turn felt a little spewy (my red line isn't pretty as is) because i doubt he calls with much worse except perhaps J9/AJ which he may even get shoved. if i do fire the turn i almost always have to check the river and fold to any bet (which given villian's range is a quite likely outcome) given that i am saying "i have one pair".

is this a good hand for application of ISF theorem? ie if i plan to call a bet, 'im better of betting myself and assuming i only get raised by hands which beat me and called by a wide range of draws and one pair hands, given the generally ABC, passive nature of most micro-stakes opponents?

In my experiences most sets wait to the turn to raise. A min raise on the flop is usually a draw.
