Just curious, how much is calling down going to cost us, as opposed a raise fold line on the flop? When we raise the flop, there's tons of worse hands than ours that he can continue with. If he has set or aces, then he's likely raising our flop raise, especially if he puts us on a big pair. I can fold to this, but if he calls then we can give him a bunch of hands we crush, and we can reassess the turn. I don't like the turn much because obviously a lot of those hands that we were beating are now crushing us, but that doesn't change the fact that we should raise this flop for value against Ah8, 99-QQ and all those flush draws. He'll tell us on this flop if he has a set or aces. | |
