    well if you see 3b tables true 3b % to felt JJ is 6.5%
    that means that BB has to be 3bing at least 5% total from all positions

    I'd say at 10NL some people 3b only the nuts or lots of different hands and it's dependent on which kind of player you have

    loose laggish over 15 hands doesn't say anything

    Loose laggish over even 15 hands at 6max button vs BB means we get it in preflop with JJ and don't feel too bad about it.

    And I still think that on this turn he can have 99 (especially), TT, 55, A9s, and even some other missed overs in addition to his QQ+ and sets.

    We need like 35% or better to call:

    Code:
    Board: 8s 3d 7c 6d
    Dead:

    	equity win tie pots won pots tied
    Hand 0: 	63.851%  	62.91% 	00.94% 	          1467 	       22.00   { 55+, 33, A9s }
    Hand 1: 	36.149%  	35.21% 	00.94% 	           821 	       22.00   { JcJh }
    And that's with no bluffs in his range.

    DoanDiggy: I could run something like 88/82 over 15 hands
    because it's 15 hands yo

    iopq have you read about bayes theorem? there's a really good post on it in the 2+2 micro NL/PL section that gives some examples in poker using maths.

    you make a good point though about it being 15 hands.

    I understand that. But we have JJ. On the button. At 6-max. Against a villain in the BB who seems aggressive so far.

    I'm not saying it's a great spot to get it in, but what else are we going to do with it? Fold the best hand postflop? If we're never happy about getting it in postflop without a set, then I think it's better (in this specific situation) to just get it in pre. It's not like we're 150 or more BBs deep.

    I think calling pre is standard

    i don't think we should be folding turn but I agree with getting it in pf, JJ is kind of a tricky hand to have in your IP 4b range.
