Might have a point there. I'll disclose a bit more to see in more detail:
If there are fewer than 7 at the table, I'll limp AJ and KQ from any position. Especially if UTG has folded. I'll pass 'em if UTG calls and I have enough chips for now.
It's pretty likely I have a leak in my game right at top pair decent kicker. My thinking is that most of the time people flop nothing or very little. I want those people out of there. I bet big and if I get a call or two I'll start trying to figure out what they like about this hand.
It seems that I run into TPTK more often than I should. It's probably because I assume they're on a good draw --- TPTK should reraise me most of the time I think.
Gorilla: I think that's they way to treat an 8outer. I think betting big on the 4flush is a sort of obvious play, so I don't do it very often. The reraise from later pos. is a neat idea and I'll try it out... seems like that play has good potential to rep a set or 2pair, so that you could very likely get 2 chances on your flush.
The way I'm playing it now, it seems like I actually need 6 to 1 to call a 4flush, because I won't see the river 80% of the time (i.e. the 5 out of six times that the turn does not complete me)
