I dont know if im doing anything wrong?
i started playing online in the summer but have been playing live games 6 months prior. As any smart man, i started off with the micro and worked my way up as i got more experience. At first i played at Pokerroom, with like $50 and lost it with in a week. After more practice and i started winnings consitently at the $0.50 and $1.00 NL tables. I would work up a good chip stack over period of time to lose alot of it in 1 or 2 hands, suckouts mainly or a hard beat (trips over trips so many times i lost count). By this point i have noticed a pattern in my "poker career" that i will win quite a bit money but then lose more in that 1-3 hands and eventually have to deposit money again. Its gotten to the point where this happened 5 or 6 times. So in the past say half year ive lost probably $500 of my own job earned money, but lost about $1800 of potential winnings. I never get the feeling like i played the hand bad, i ask myself if i could have played it better but i cant find the answer since that same type of play is correct most of the time. Its annoying to see myself struggle like this. Im sure most of you know where im comming from. All this just makes me 2nd guess myself on alot of big decisions on hands that can equal alot of won or lsot money. Feedback?
