No, I don't usually stack off with top pair. In this case I had my pointer over the fold button. I had a feeling I had the best hand at that moment, but I wasn't sure if it would hold up at showdown. Going over the hand, I probably should have folded preflop, but his shove seemed odd to me. Chalk it up to fish intuition.
