If you think the villain is shoving ATC, then this is easy. Calculate your equity needed to break even on a call (hint, it can be found in a lot of places on this site/on internet) then use PokerStove to find the range of hands with > than that equity percentage, then call.
I had just taken a beat and failed to re-load. Thanks for the hint but I had actually followed this guy for an hour for information on his play. I was aware that he hasn't a range. He was pushing with anything and I had calculated my equity many times before making the call in the first hand posted above.

ragnar, why 55%? How often do you think the poster checks his post to slowplay (against a frequent preflop shove monkey) vs. how often he has nothing?
I would say he would only slowplay QQ+,AK which is like what, 4%?
even THEN you'll find that our equity is not terrible
rake is like 5%
we can make a profitable call if we're 52% vs. his range because the money in the pot just about pays for the rake, and the 2% is the insurance against running into a better hand by the poster
