Default Help w/ limp re-raisers from LP

What do you make of it when someone limp-re-raises from LP. I saw this twice today, and I had AQ both times and really didn't know what to do. Once it was a min-raise and the other time it was a 3x raise.

I usually just fold it. It all depends on what I think of him.

If its just a minraise i sometimes calls with AQs in multiway pots for a flush/straight trips if they have a big stack. I wont get married to 2 pair though.

If its a shortie limp/pushing then alot of the time ill call.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

The bad part of this is that you will be OOP for the rest of the hand. As Pelion mentioned I MAY call a min re-raise with AQs and play for flush/set, but would probably fold AQo.

Edit: BTW, I have noticed this pattern quite a bit lately and it seems that in several cases the limp/re-raiser had a mid PP or some weak holding like AJ0 or KQo. I will review a couple of my HH's to see if I can find any examples.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

Is he a short stack? if so it's usually a small pocket pair.

Has he been losing? if so it's probably a steam play with some moderate holding.

post the hands, unless he is really bad I wouldn't assume being dominated here.
