Default a hand to learn from? pls comment

So, the hand went something like this (dont have the HH here, am at work)

    25NL
i'm in the small blind with 24$ stack on a full 9 player table of average stacks
6 people limp (only one folder in mid pos)
    i have AJo
    i raise to 2$
utg (about 20$ stack) calls and everyone else folds
    flop comes 10 7 3 rainbow
    i cbet 2$
    villain calls
    turn comes A
    i bet the pot size
    villain raises to 2xpot
    i call
river brings a blank (no flush/straight possibilities)
    i check
    villain bets half pot
    ....

So, the way i saw it:
many limpers, i try to steal by pot raising and i still got a playable (though weak) hand if anybody calls
utg calls and the rest fold
i put him on Ax, paints, or small/medium pair
make my cbet and get called
the A turns and i bet the pot, i get called
at that point i think i maybe beat, i check and he bets half the pot

Now, if he has a small-middle pair, he could be winning (he hit trips) or losing (he has JJ, 99, etc...)
If he has Ax he is most probably losing, unless he paired his kicker
If he has paints, he is losing and bluffing

The thing is i had recently stole some blinds by raising (in late pos) on the limpers

Could it be he's playing back at me?
    Does he have a monster?
Is he betting something like K 10 or JJ thinking he's betting for value after my check on the river?

    comments will be appreciated

don't raise PF, that's gross. My raising range is like TT+, AQs+. You're bloating the pot OOP with a weak holding against 6 other players ranges.

NH sir. I think that's a terrible spot to raise with AJ.

Then I don't like his raise. And with six limpers, any raise that isn't retarded is going to get called in at least one spot at 25NL. So I go retard or limp my way into a monster.

AJ is terribly weak in the sb with limpers. if you decide to play, you should raise, but realize any caller has you whooped pf (would you really expect AT to call? how about KJ? KQ may, but prolly wont. so only mid pairs and higher aces are calling you here). callers would be pp's and higher aces, unless you know you have isolated a donkey. you need AQs/AKo/JJ+ to raise that, imo.

you cbet the flop lightish..why? shouldnt you pound the flop with a pot bet to send the message you may have a huge overpair and are going to charge like hell for it?

you get called...you should be done here, imo (actually, you should have been done pf). once you get called pf, and on the flop...to a raise and cbet, at this level, you aint looking good anymore.

you hit the A on the turn...fine, i bet again, too...but he minraises you...GET THE HELL OUT!! if you cant take that message, you may be blind. he is screaming he still has the A beat...and wants a caller.

i like your thinking about his "ranges." but, the betting action is all you need to see to know you are beat here...way more than you are ahead. its a clear fold...and a lesson of a hand to avoid getting involved with in the first place.
