Agreed that I could have gotten the garbage out with a preflop raise. (In fact later on I DID raise with KK in the same position but didn't get any action.) The only thing is that there were 3 very aggressive players yet to act, including one who would raise and call with almost anything. I'd doubled through him earlier when I raised him all-in from the SB with 55 and he had A3 and called. I could have taken the pot with a raise but I was looking to take one of the aggressive players' stacks, not just win the pot.

That said...my reads were on target.

Caller in MP had 2 3 for bottom pair no kicker, a gutshot straight flush draw.

Problem for him was that MP+1 had A Q for the nut flush draw, just as I suspected.

And SB had 6 6 for top set.
