yeah learning to lay down hands was the hardest thing for me moving up. Bc most players at these levels dont push huge or call big bets with just top pair like they do in the smaller games. i cant tell you how many times ive folded top pair with top kicker on the flop.
Being able to adjust to your table is also much more crucial at higher stakes. You will have better players there who will speed up and slow down alot more then you do at the smaller tables.. it seems at the $25 and $50 games everyone plays at the same speed all session long. You must pay high attention to every hand and see when players are changing gears. This is why i try to only play 2 tables at once.. i feel like i miss to much information otherwise
