Let me rephrase. I mean value hands and hands that are likely to hit flops and be easier to play postflop so maybe we drop of the T9s type hands of our mp range where we are unlikely to flop a top pair hand or top pair plus a draw. Hands that will allow us to continue with a good chunk of equity that will give us some extra post flop playability like having over cards we can improve to if we whiff. As the T9s- type hands aren't likely to flop a top pair or be over cards very often. Thus we can barrel more turn cards with our tighter range with a higher frequency cause we can expect to maintain higher equity shares as opposed to having to give up when we whiff with the T9s- unless we flop well. I might be off, but again this is me trying to learn so I expect to be tested and just ripped apart. | |
