Default Can someone help me understand this..

I am looking to re-sign up to PKR with a 100% bonus offer which I have to earn 225 PKR points for each dollar I deposit to obtain. In the terms it says:

"Only PKR Points accumulated through participation in raked hands and real money tournaments will count towards clearing the bonus. Any PKR points earned through PKR Point tournaments, ring games or grants or gifts do not qualify for releasing the bonus. "

I'm confused. If this refers to ANY ring games at all, why would ring games be excluded?
If it refers to 'PKR points ring games' which would make more sense, then I'm still confused because I've never seen any PKR points ring games before, only PKR point tournaments.

This is important because how much I deposit initially will depend on how many pkr points I think i can earn in 60 days and I remember earning most of my points from normal ring games. Is it essentially saying you have to earn all your points from sit n goes or tournaments?

    Thanks to any prospective answerers!

it says you can earn bonus playing real money games (ring or tournies ) but not PKR POINT RING GAMES OR TOURNIES (aka aka games where you use PKR points as the buyin)

    i think this helps you

Thanks Philly, but I've been playing on PKR for over a month now and have never seen ring games that you play with PKR points, so can I double check you're sure about what you say?

Oh, I just meant I'll sign up with a different account and this time take advantage of the offers.

ho many times do you think you can sign up and take advantage of the offers???? can't you understand my previous answer where I said you can only have one account.

read the link PKR | 2. How many accounts...

How many accounts may I have?
    Back to Account FAQs
In order to prevent fraud and collusion and to keep the game fair for all players, only one account per person, per household is allowed at PKR. If more than one person in your household would like a PKR account, please contact our customer service team.

Well, seeing as you've been so rude:

Yes I can understand your previous post, thanks, but you're an idiot and therefore it's insignificant to me.

For the sake of your own frustration (little brains can easily get frustrated I've learnt), exercise your ability to think and recognise that it's incredibly easy to circumvent the rules and have more than one account. Therefore, you are wrong, one can easily have more than one account in practice, if not officially.

And to bjsaust, yes it's English, but it's poorly written English. The way it's written suggests that ring games of any nature are excluded.

And why bother posting if you are just going to be rude and not bother to understand the predicament? What possible outcome do you hope to attain?

Yeah Keith, how dare you point out site rules to someone asking questions. I mean, come on, he's new here, he made his account jst to ask this question, the least you can do is totally ignore it if you intent to say something that might hurt his feelings.

New boy... sorry if this is in a tone that might be considered as rude, but you are being an idiot. I'm not saying this to get a rise or anything, but you come here and start shouting your mouth off before you even sit down for a cup of tea. People will respond to your posts in a variety of manners... I didn't find Keith's particularly rude, have you met Icanstreetbet yet?

If you can't handle people talking straight to you, you might find yourself getting angry on a fair few occasions.

Welcome to the site, by the way.

Oh, having more than one account at any given site might be considered by some as unethical, so don't be surprised if people respond in what appears to be a negative manner.

whats rude about asking if someone can't understand the written word?. not everyone here has English as their primary language and the fact that you are asking about the interpretation of what has been written.

What is rude is to start calling someone who has responded to point out a major flaw in your question an idiot.Every one you can apply for multiple accounts , however , the id checks and security checks that the online sites make now make it very hard to get away with.

since you know everything , don't bother whining about having your funds confiscated from your account . You can only have one account according to the sites terms and conditions. If you break the terms and conditions you open yourself up to having your funds confiscated.
look at these terms that apply.
2.2 You agree to provide only true accurate complete and current information and further agree to update this information to keep it true accurate complete and current. It is your sole responsibility to inform Us of any changes to your personal details by amending your registration details.
2.6 You must use your real name and identity for the purposes of your registration.
3.2 You may only hold one Account. You may make payments into that Account by any of the methods currently available on the Site provided that you are the named account holder of the account from which you are transferring funds
    10. FORTEITURE AND RENTENTION OF ACCOUNT MONIES

10.1 We reserve the right to retain all monies in your Account (and to suspend or withdraw access to the Site, the Games and/or the Software) if you are in breach of any terms of this Agreement, you are suspected of fraud, collusion, cheating or improper or unlawful activity (whether in connection with the Site, the Games, the Software or otherwise).
so if you sign up a second time you are breaking their terms and conditions and agree to forfeit your money.

Hey asshole maybe you didn't realize but this site isn't about cheating etc. We are more into learning how to improve our game than "circumvent the rules." You've come to the wrong place evidently!
"You start the game with a full pot o’ luck and an empty pot o’ experience...
The object is to fill the pot of experience before you empty the pot of luck."

Thinks we're just shouting at air now, don't reckon he'll be back. Man already I'm starting to love the people who join up and start gobbing off. Gotta admit it was mighty tempting when I signed up, you know, get macho and start flexing the muscles I don't have, tell people who call me an idiot to go fuck themsleves etc etc, but it didn't take me long to realise that I could probably learn a thing or two off the arrogant tosspots who like to be sarcastic. One day I hope to be an arrogant sarcastic tosspot. I'm not good enough to be arrogant, I'm working on it. The sarcastic tosspot bit comes naturally.

On the subject of multiple accounts, I seem to recall having to submit my passport number to verify my identity when I recently signed up to satrs. I'm not sure it's that easy these days to get away with multiple accounts for card rooms. Besides, it's all very well using a different name to register, but how do you then cash out winnings? Trasfer funds to your real name account? How many times can you do that before they think something odd is going on?

I think I'd only want another account if I were a famous pro so I could go and mix it at the micros for a laugh without attracting a rail of dickheads.
