Aspirations
What are your poker goals? I know everyone wants to win a bracelet. And yea we all want to play $1000NL, but if you had to decide on some realistic, long term goals, what would they be? Do you want to play full time? Do you want to become the best player possible, and if so, how much time and effort are you going to put into doing that? Are you happy with just playing as high a stakes as you can get while doing the family thing, job and social life?
How would you rate your "poker drive"? What are you not getting out of poker, FTR and your learning experience that you need to change/find to make your "poker career" get to where you want it?
I just want to here your wish list, road blocks, your goals and what you are going to do to achieve them. Personally, I really want to become a full timer. I am finding it really hard to get to where I want to be. Family, work and life slow down the process a lot. I am making progress faster than ever, but getting to the magic number that lets me "go pro" is still off in the distance. I still am shooting for Jan 1/08 and am on target to my goals posted in my Blog here on FTR. Where do you hope to be in the new year, or 12 months from now?
